Teri Kruger grew up in the Bay Area, and attended local schools. She graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara California, majoring in Social Science with a History emphasis. She then did a year of graduate work and received her California Teaching Credential.
She met her husband Al in choir at First Baptist Church of Los Altos. They still attend the same church, now called Bridges Community Church, and still enjoy singing in the choir together. They have two children. David lives in Seattle, where he works in IT. Julie lives in the Bay Area, and is a flight attendant and trainer for Alaska Airlines. Thanks to her benefits, Teri and Al are able to travel frequently, one of their favorite pastimes. Teri also enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Teri was privileged to be a stay-at-home mom. She kept involved with teaching by directing a children’s choir of 4 and 5 year olds at church for over 25 years! She also did substitute teaching at Canterbury and other Christian schools for many years. She began teaching kindergarten at Canterbury when her son was in college, and has been here ever since!
