Uniform & Dress Code

The Canterbury uniform is worn by every student, including those in kindergarten, and should be worn with a sense of dignity and pride.  The complete uniform must be worn every day.  It is expected that parents will purchase regulation items or they will be asked to replace them. All clothing must be properly fit and modest. No holes, tears, frays, patches, or writing are permitted on dress code items.  Shirts must be tucked in throughout the day but may be untucked during recess.

French Toast brand school uniforms are widely available at a variety of retailers. In addition to Amazon and FrenchToast.com, families may also find uniform items at Walmart, Kohl’s, and JC Penney.

Please ensure all purchases match the required color, cut, and style listed in our official uniform guide. When in doubt, refer to product images and item descriptions or contact our school office for confirmation.

Canterbury School Pins

These pins should be worn by students on their cardigans (or blazers) as a part of their daily attire.

Should a pin become lost or damaged, replacements and extras are available for purchase from the school office at a cost of $5. We encourage all students to wear their pins as a symbol of pride in our community. Additional locking backs are also available in the office.

PE Uniform:

The Canterbury school physical education uniform is worn on Thursdays as an alternative to the regular uniform, specifically designed to provide comfort and flexibility during physical activities. It consists of a white T-shirt featuring the school logo, representing a sense of unity and school pride. Students have the option to wear navy sweatpants or navy P.E. shorts, allowing them to choose what suits their preference and activity level.

Additional Guidelines:

  • Jumper length must be at or just below the knee.
  • Only white undershirts (no prints or colors) may be worn and must not be visible.
  • All-black shoes only (brand logos okay, no stripes, no colored soles).
  • Optional: Biker shorts, white tights, or leggings under the jumper (must not be visible).
  • Hair accessories must be navy, red, or white. Hair should be of natural color and neatly groomed.
  • No makeup, nail polish, or jewelry (except small earrings for girls with pierced ears).

    Logic School (6th – 8th)

    Young Women

    • May wear biker shorts, white leggings, or white tights under skirts.
    • No rolled/folded socks.
    • Shoes must be all black or all white—no stripes, colors, or patterns (brand logos okay).
    • Only white undershirts allowed; no prints or visible designs.
    • Hair should be of natural color and kept neat.

    Young Men
