After School Enrichment

For families that desire after school care for their children, CCS provides opportunities for students to explore subjects and areas of interest above and beyond their grade-level curriculum. These are added to regularly depending upon interest and availability of instructors.

Art classes are held on Mondays and Fridays where children learn the elements of drawing, color, and painting.

Chess Club is a Friday opportunity for students to learn the basics of chess, along with scoring and strategies. Tournament play is also available.

Mandarin classes are held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays where children learn to speak, read, and write in Mandarin.

Math Club uses Singapore Math to enrich students to approach reasoning and thinking skills.

Public Speaking/Debate is an opportunity for students to learn the elements of good communication: pronunciation, enunciation, delivery, posture, and poise. It is offered on most Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Study Hall and electives give students a chance to do their homework, receive extra help, and participate other useful activities.
