God has ordained the family as His basic institution to carry out the Great Commission. At Canterbury Christian School, we appreciate the trust that parents give us to help them in this important task. Whether at home or at school, there are challenges that need to be addressed. It is often useful for parents to hear from other “veterans” who have travelled the parenting journey to share advice and assistance.
On October 8th at 7:00 pm, CCS is hosting Canterbury Conversations with the scheduled topic “Bringing Out the Best in Your Children.” Fr. Macias will provide some biblical guidelines, and Mrs. Schwartz (mother of 3 grown children) will be leading a discussion on how to identify strengths and weaknesses in your children, along with some ideas to bring out the best in them, academically, socially, physically, and spiritually.
God has created our children to glorify Him. Understanding the many ways they can carry this out at this point in their lives will be advantageous in determining how to help them uncover those gifts God has given them.
Please RSVP here and feel free to invite other parents to join us in the parish hall even if they do not have children currently enrolled in our school.
