Canterbury After School Program to Use Jackrabbit for Parent Portal
Over the years, we’ve fielded many phone calls and emails from parents about our after school program: “Is Johnny signed for Chess?” or “I lost my sign up form” or “Something came up at work and I need to add my child to after school.” So many that we’ve been working through a new parent-centered system for managing the after-school program called, “Jackrabbit Class.” This program allows Canterbury to upload a schedule of offered classes and parents have the 24/7 control to add, drop, and even reschedule classes if needed. The program also handles the fees and allows parents to pay by bank or credit cards – which eliminates some of the hassle of writing checks each week.
The first step for parents is to register online for an account via a quick registration form. The link is https://bit.ly/3NbMLcz and we will send it in the Canterbury Tales email, too. This basic form asks for information about your child(ren) and also ask you to create a username for using the parent portal. If you’re having trouble with this step, simply send us an email and we can manually add your family and send you a login.
Second, sign up for classes in the parent portal. Inside the parent portal Canterbury families can:
1) Enroll students into classes and schedule absences and makeups.
2) View the payments posted to their account and make online payments
3) Update their contact information and emergency contacts.
4) See and read past sent emails, registrations, and receipts.
